Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Srinagar arrival

Arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be met by our representative and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat, After fresh up visit to world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) Pari Mahal, Chasmeshahi Garden, and after sightseeing back to Houseboats and 1 hrs Shikra Ride after freshup back to Houseboats and Overnight stay.
Evening enjoy shikara ride around in Dal Lake 1 hrs, after shikara ride back to Houseboat and Overnight stay.

Day 02 : Srinagar - Naranag - Trunkhol (3 hrs drive/ 5 hrs trek).
After breakfast at the houseboat, we drive to Naranag and that we pack our load on horses and begin our trek. Our trail a rather steep passes through the pine forest of Butsheri and thru the meadows of Bodpathri we camp at Trunkhol for an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Trunkhol - Gangabal Lake (4 hrs trek).
We leave Trunkhol meadow and rehearse grassy fields. We camp at Gangabal Lake for an overnight stay. These are two lakes Gangabal and Nundkol situated at the foothills of Mount Haramukh.
(The Gangabal Lake also called Haramukh ganga, is a lake situated at the foot of Mount Haramukh in Ganderbal district, north of Srinagar, in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
The Gangbal lake is approached from Srinagar 45 kilometers by road via Ganderbal up to Naranag and then a trek of 15 kilometers upslope leads to the lake, which can be covered by a horse ride or by foot. The gujjar shepherds can be seen during the trek with their flocks of sheep and goats. Another trek (25 kilometers long) leads to the lake site from Sonamarg via the Vishansar Lake crossing three mountain passes Nichnai pass, Gadsar pass and Zajibal pass of an average elevation of 4100 meters)

Day 4 : Gangabal - Kolesar - Mahlish (4 hours trek).

Leaving Gangabal Lake we rehearse meadows and reach Kolesar Lake. We continue further and trek to Mahlish meadow for an overnight stay. Mahlish meadow is that the best campsite overlooking the Sind Valley.

Day 5 : Mahlish - Chaturgul - Srinagar (4 hours trek, 3 hours drive).

We leave Mahlish and trek right down to Chaturgul through the meadows and descend through a pine forest to Chaturgul village. Here ends our walking. We take our car and repel to Srinagar hotel or houseboat for an overnight stay.


Day 6 : Srinagar Departure
After breakfast check out hotel / Houseboat and drop to the Sriangar Ariprot.
